Definitions

“The Company” shall mean Quest Furniture Ltd and ‘the buyer’ shall mean the customer with whom a contract is made.

 

General

All orders are accepted subject to the following Terms & Conditions, which shall not be varied except as agreed by The Company in writing.

The Company reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

The Buyer is to understand that their personal information (not including credit or debit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

The Company endeavors to be as accurate as possible with all of the dimension data provided, however these should be deemed to be as guide only as there may be some differences to the measurements indicated.

 

Quote & Prices

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

The Company reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue products or services (or any part or content there of) without notice at any time.

Our Quotations remain valid for 30 days, but The Company reserves the right to amend the price as a result of changes to the exchange rate, to suppliers’ prices or to other inputs outside our control, or when a genuine mistake has been made.

For orders placed online, shipping costs are calculated automatically based on the size and weight of items on your order, Certain parts of London, Scotland and Wales may incur additional charges. Therefore we reserve the right to modify the shipping price.

 

Delivery

The cost of delivering items on your order is not included in the price of the goods. Delivery is an additional service that we provide through a third party service.

The Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in the delivery of the goods even if caused by the companies negligence. Nor shall any delay entitle the buyer to terminate or rescind the contract.

If deliveries are been made on behalf of the company by a third party courier, the buyer is to ensure that the order is signed for once the goods have been accepted and the condition they are in. If the delivery is not signed according to the state of the goods received i.e. satisfactory / damaged packaging / damaged items, a claim cannot be made against the courier. If there is not sufficient time to check the goods this must be stated on the delivery note and any damages or shortages reported within 24 hours.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to check all goods for damages, shortages, errors and report any damages, shortages, errors to the company within 24 hours. If we receive no written communication from you within 24 hours of delivery, regarding any problems with the goods, you are deemed to have received the goods in full working order and with no problems, damages, or shortages.

Delivery date is an estimate only.

 

Cancellation & Returns

The Buyer has no right to cancel or postpone any contract made under these terms and conditions after the Company has issued its order acknowledgement.

If the Buyer purports to do so (without prejudice to any other rights of the Company in connection with such purported cancellation or postponement) the Buyer shall compensate the Company for all costs charges and expenses incurred by the Company, including loss of profit by reason of such cancellation or postponement

Legal Interpretation

Any contract to which these terms and conditions apply shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with such contract shall be determined exclusively by the English Courts.
